This May, we’re tipping our helmets (and keyboards) to the real MVPs of the modern galaxy: the workers. From coders to creatives, visionaries to virtual assistants, every click, call, and collaboration fuels the digital universe we all navigate.
Sure, May 1st officially marks Workers’ Day, but let’s be honest, one day isn’t nearly enough to celebrate the minds and muscles behind meaningful progress. So in true Assurdly fashion, we’re using this entire newsletter to honour the everyday heroes who show up, build better, and do the work with heart, humour, and hustle.
Whether you’re a Jedi of JavaScript or a Wizard of workflows, this one’s for you. Because without the people behind the screens, the Force (and your favourite apps) gets a little.…..buggy.
Now, let’s peek behind the scenes at what’s new!
Latest With Assurdly📢
From our Blog📖
At Assurdly, remote work isn’t a trend; it’s our terrain. For over five years, we’ve ditched the office walls and embraced a borderless approach to building digital products. The result? 70+ launches, a 9.5/10 client satisfaction score, and a team that runs on trust, tools, and top-tier talent.
This isn't about perfection. As Steve Jobs said, “Be a yardstick of quality. Some people aren’t used to an environment where excellence is expected.” At Assurdly, we expect excellence, and we’ve designed a remote model that empowers it. We communicate, collaborate seamlessly, and build digital products that solve problems.
Our digital workspace doesn’t just function; it flourishes, with fewer awkward mugs and more meaningful momentum.

Worker’s Day Wish List📝
A Totally Reasonable Letter to HR:
Dear HR,
First off, happy Workers’ Day! We thought this would be a good time to finally say what’s really on our minds. After all, we work hard, and occasionally send emails that start with “just circling back…” so we deserve this.
Here are our humble requests:
Three-day weekends. Every weekend: Science probably supports this.
Mandatory nap pods: With soothing whale sounds and blackout curtains. You know… for “wellness.” Preferably next to the snacks.
A ‘Reply All’ fine system: If you hit that button unnecessarily, you fund the office snack budget. Fair.
A badge for surviving meetings that could’ve been Slack messages: Just a little recognition goes a long way.
Unlimited paid time off: As long as we promise not to take it all at once. (Maybe.)
We understand if implementation takes a week. Or a decade. But hey, thanks for listening, HR. You’re the real MVP (especially if you approve #5 😉).
In solidarity,
Your loyal overachievers with questionable boundaries and great ideas.
